Experience

  • Financial experience desirable but not essential as a comprehensive induction is provided and full training will be given.

  • Be able to learn quickly and demonstrate this effectively.
  • Able to be use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook confidently.

Duties include

  • Receive incoming and make outbound calls to consumers in arrears to discuss payment options
  • Negotiation with consumers to resolve and recover ongoing bad debts
  • Take and process payments
  • Achieve both team and individual targets
  • Use own initiative to resolve bad debts
  • Advise customers of our payment options for debt recovery, handling each call promptly and in a correct manner
  • Update records appropriately by leaving clear and precise notes
  • Input consumer related data accurately and efficiently
  • Taking responsibility for resolving disputes, ensuring that the consumer concerns are actioned correctly and all parties are notified
  • Being able to confidently explain details regarding how and when the debt was incurred and sign post to Non for profit debt charities where applicable.

Work Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00am – 17:30pm with additional overtime if required due to business demand.

Salary: Various Pay Grades Dependant on Role + Comprehensive Benefits

Benefits:  Paid Overtime at £15p/hr, Monthly Lottery Scheme (jackpot currently £1500.00+)
